The Double Bed
Hip pressed to hip,
Dorsal curve fit to ventral,
Later sleepily rearranged.
But always outflung limb
Seeks reassuring warmth,
Knowing, no action meant to harm,
No motives misunderstood.
In this small circle sleep,
Secure in love.
