The Existence of Lines

A white wall—
quickly, a line drawn,
here, there, not
to my eye related.

But in his eye all
contained, balanced.

Appearning now as
connected forms,
weight and volume
visible and full.

How does the brain
envision and display?

We are all creatures
full of power and signs.
Take your blank wall—
and draw your lines.
